The race for the Premier League title may be almost over but the battle for the top four most certainly isn’t, with Arsenal and Liverpool looking the most likely takers for the final Champions League spot. Liverpool lead the charge mathematically and need just two wins from their final two games to secure the position, but Arsenal’s late surge in form has the Reds looking over their shoulder.

A task in which they monumentally failed to deliver, losing on the night 5-1 and 10-2 on aggregate.

Arsenal traveled to France this evening to square off against the French Champions, Paris Saint Germain in the opening game of their Champions League campaign. PSG however, managed to take the lead in just 42 seconds, only for Alexis Sanchez to conjure up an emphatic equalising goal for the Gunners as the game ended all square despite PSG’s dominance.
